Hi there!

We’re Erin and Kate, your partners in speech therapy.

We were born and raised in the Bay Area and founded Inada and Warren Speech Therapy Partners, Inc. in the summer of 2018 after working for many years together in early intervention. It was a natural transition, as we have always shared a passion for serving young kids with speech or language needs and their families.

Both of us have:

  • Master’s of Science degrees in Communicative Sciences and Disorders

  • Full certification as Speech-Language Pathologists through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Certification in Hanen programs: It Takes Two to Talk and More Than Words

  • Experience assessing and treating children with various disabilities and delays

  • Experience working in a variety of settings (e.g., clinical, educational, home, medical)

  • Experience collaborating with other team members (psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, teachers, paraprofessionals, vision and hearing specialists, and parents)

  • Experience with various service-delivery models (one-on-one therapy, co-treatment, group therapy, parent and toddler classes, and consultations)

Erin Inada, M.S., CCC-SLP

Paper Bag Puppeteer, DIY Book and Song Writer, and Cheerleader of Pretend Play

Erin has been a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist since 2007. She earned her graduate degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, and she also attended the Building Bridges Summer Camp and Training Institute. After graduate school, Erin returned to the Bay Area and began work in a clinic before transitioning to an early intervention public school. In addition to the Hanen courses above, Erin also has certification in Talkability and Target Word.

Across all settings, services, and therapeutic programs, Erin has seen in action how adding communication strategies into interactions with the familiar people in a child’s life can benefit that child’s language skills. Erin feels that an interaction has truly been successful when the child has built their communication skills AND smiled or laughed while doing so.
